Ocean City Grand Prix Rescheduled to Late September

Originally slated to be April 30 - May 2, the Ocean City Grand Prix has been rescheduled to September 24-26. Due to the restrictions brought on by covid-19, most of the events attractions and amenities are closed to the public. We felt to do justice to the site, competitors, and fans. It would be better to run the event later in the year, where we hope to put on a top notch event. Phil Houck and his team in Ocean City, MD, at Bull on the Beach, have worked tirelessly to provide an outstanding event. There's no reason to believe that won't be the case in September and we remain excited to run such a historic event in 2021. Please stay tuned for more information regarding the event. We look forward to being back in Ocean City, MD.

Jersey Mikes to Sponsor the Point Pleasant Beach Grand Prix

A staple at the Jersey Shore, Jersey Mike's Subs has signed on once again to support the Point Pleasant Beach Grand Prix. We’re honored to have them, as we share a long history stemming from the shore. In 1956, the original Jersey Mike's Subs was opened in Point Pleasant, NJ. Before long powerboat racing would take its hold on the area as well. For the last few years, the Point Pleasant GP was run early in the season. Where some of the sights and smells of the event were missing. We’re extremely happy to have it back in a prime slot on June 13th. And with such amazing support locally. New Jersey was impacted heavily by the covid - 19 virus. So many of these vacation towns up and down the jersey shore suffered. This is a great opportunity to give back, and support Point Pleasant Beach as they’ve supported us for so many years.
